If is due, the technicians inspect the tensioner to see if it is the original style, or the 2nd or 3rd updated tensioner. It shows up on the key read as being due (generally, if your car ever got a chain under warranty, then it is probably not due for the campaign) You can call up your local dealer, and give them the last 7 digits of your VIN (starts with a T) and they can look it up in DCS and let you know if is due for the campaign. Just to be clear my car is no longer under warranty and this was completed because of a lot of complaints they have been receiving. I brought my mini into the dealership and they told me I had some issues with my timing chain assembly. My car had some trouble starting and would have a rattle at low idle. I had some Cam Shaft check engine codes P0014 and P0012 dealing with some timing issues with my mini. So I wrote a post a couple of days about some check engine issues I was having with my mini.
